1. We weren't sure if it was going to happen.

2. The trip was booked and then she got pneumonia. It had to be canceled.

3. Then she rebooked. Hooray!

4. Her work informed her that she had a meeting the day she was to leave.

5. She rebooked a second time.

6. I DIDN'T SAY A WORD FOR FEAR OF JINXING IT.

7. The news reported a million flight delays and cancellations.

8. YET...

9. SHE MADE IT ON TIME.

10. So now my fabulous Canadian friend and I are hanging out! Woohoo!!
